Question: How do BoatSafe® heaters differ from other, smaller products on the market?
Answer: Size actually does matter! Smaller heaters must get hot to heat the engine compartment. In order to do this, they are designed so that the electronic and heating elements cannot be separated creating safety concerns. Also, even though they claim to take up less space, you cannot put anything within 12 inches of either the intake or exhaust, making their effective footprint 2 feet larger!
